[haw-info] No War With Iran: Call Senators to Oppose Lieberman-Graham Resolution !!

No War With Iran: Call Senators to Oppose Lieberman-Graham Resolution

please forward widely

Thousands of AIPAC lobbyists are flooding the Capitol today, pushing members of Congress to a more belligerent stand on Iran.

As early as this week, the Senate may be voting on S.Res. 380, a dangerous resolution introduced by Senators Lieberman, Casey and Graham designed to curtail peaceful options for resolving the Iranian conflict.

This resolution is being co-sponsored by 47 Senators and that list could grow. If passed, the measure implicitly calls for a military attack on Iran when Iran reaches a "nuclear capability." At that stage diplomacy will be off the table.

Call your Senators today ! Use toll-free number provided by the Friends Committee on National Legislation: 855-NO-WAR (855--686-6927) Tell them constituents do not want another war. Urge them to vote "NO" when the resolution comes to the floor. If they are already co-sponsors urge them to rescind their support.
