[haw-info] New Resolution on Israeli Violations of Academic Freedom Goes to the American Historical Association

Dear members and supporters of HAW,

Historians Against the War has opened a new campaign to ask the American Historical Association (AHA) to censure Israel's violations of academic freedom in the Occupied Palestinian Territories at its 2016 Annual Meeting in Atlanta. Our resolution, signed by sixty historians, including some of the most respected figures in our profession, has just been published in the AHA's Perspectives magazine. We have also published a comprehensive brochure documenting these violations. All is available at this link. If you are an AHA member, we urge you to sign on between now and the November 1 deadline for submitting the resolution.
