1. The Howard Zinn Read-In at Purdue University this evening, 6;00 - 9:00 Eastern time, will be broadcast live on-line at the following website: www.wearemany.org

2.  The following information is from Hofstra University historian Carolyn (Rusti) Eisenberg:

Call for Papers: George W. Bush Presidential Conference

In March 2015, Hofstra University will be hosting the George W. Bush Presidential Conference which will feature public officials, journalists and (hopefully) activists from that time. Scholars are invited to make proposals for papers. 500-word proposals are due on January 8, 2014.

For more information, See

I'm sure there are many folks on this list who have valuable insights about this Presidency. Please consider submitting a paper proposal.

For further questions, you can contact Carolyn Eisenberg at Carolyn.Eisenberg@hofstra.edu

3.  Robert Greenwald's new feature-length film, Unmanned: America's Drone Wars, can be streamed for free. Information is at http://www.warcosts.com/drones_partner, or see David Swanson's review at http://warisacrime,org/content/unmanned.
